Is it me or do others get frightened by high winds??
The noise is terrific and it woke me at 3 am. Had a pee (as you do) and tried to get back to sleep. No Chance!!
Now I'm sat down stairs trying to ignore the sound of me roof being ripped off whilst surfing, eating a scone and drinkin' Yorkshire tea!
I wish i still smoked, then I could have rolled up a nice "cone" and forget about this chuffing wind.

When I was a teacher it was always the high winds which upset the children and made then nervous, I don't like it either.
Me too! Thunderstorms don't scare me one iota but the sound of wind whistling past the windows has me hiding under my duvet!
