What would be the best type of sewing machine for a beginner in quilting? I would like one that's not to complicated, please.

Hi silhouette :o)

I am a beginner at sewing too and bought my first one last year a month or so before christmas. I made some lovely cushion covers which I quilted the front of and having never done it before I must say I did quite a good job and it was fairly easy to do. The machine itself is very easy to use.

This is the one I bought from Woolworths:

Although it says it isn't in stock but it may be worthwhile going into store and enquiring whether they will be getting anymore.

Happy Sewing! :o)
