Was AIDS created in a laborotory as a biological warfare agent? That's what I hear.

For the knowledge that I have, AIDS was a disease found in animals, and was at some point transferred to humans through blood exchange. The origin of many diseases can only be traced back as far as certain animals. Where they got them, know one knows. It shouldn't matter where it originated, all the matters is preventing it from spreading any further.

The aids virus doesnt last very long outside the body, only a few minutes or so and therefire would have been a totally rubbish warfare agent.

i think it's important to understand where it originated from as the associated information could well help towards a cure - And that's far better than stopping the spread.

And we live in a blame-culture world where witch-hunts are common place. We need to find the source and then persecute it!!! (joke)
