hi there people i have a video stord on my computer and want to transfer them to a dvd+r disc i have done things like this before with cds, im not sure if its because i have a driver for the discs or is there any softwere needed or recommended to burn videos on to a dvd that can be played on a television

There's plenty of free software to do the job you require, which one you use depends on your experience. If the file is in AVI, Mpeg, Wmv, Asf, Mp4, 3gp format then Sothink DVD maker will do the job.
