nope, i use rechargeable batteries on mine, had the digital camera for over a year by then, and the non-rechargeable ones only take a couple of snaps sometimes.
The only way you could do that would be with a camera that has a lithium rechargeable battery, which most of the most advanced ones have. It is a flat battery, and you either place the camera on a charging dock when you are not using it, or charge it like you would a mobile phone, with a mains charger. The other option is a set of rechargeable batteries, which you take out and charge in a classic battery charger.
bought mr roach the one that's on the as with the boy & the dog where he chucks it & runs it under the tap. Very good camera took it in the pool on holiday the other week. think its a panasonic..! its in his van so cant check it out.
