I went in a high street shop today and was charged 5 for something which should have cost 22. I kept quiet even though I knew I had been undercharged.
I am a Catholic but have not been to church for over 50 years.
Would some R.C out there confess for me the next time you go, get a separate penance & let me know, I will be happy to do it
many thanks & god bless.

Must be a wind-up. Confessing by proxy? And besides, what's the point of doing penance when you've made no attempt to resolve something that can easily be resolved? You little joker, you!
How many times have you paid 22 for something worth 5 ? Maybe it was a miracle.

It would have been even better if it was `Buy One - Get One Free'. :0)
You've confessed to us. I hereby absolve you and ask you to do the following penance - say three Hail Marys, and then take the difference between what you paid and what it cost - 8.50 - and donate it to Oxfam.

Surely, take it back and claim a refund or credit note for 22.
