Why doesn`t my `Sent Mail` show that it`s `sent` when I try to see if my mail has gone?

I don't know. Who is your email provider and how do you access your emails?
Do you have your sent items sorted in date order? Many people I know have them sorted in name order and so it doesn't appear as though your message has been sent.

Answer to Ethel...My ISP is Yahoo and my e-mail`s Virgin
:;; :; squarebear ...Name order,, I do get confirmation from whomever that they recieve ok, it`s just annoying that`s all.
If you are accessing your e-mail through Outlook Express, you need to do the following:

Click Tools/Options
Select the "Send" tab
Check the box "Save copy of sent messages in the..."

Hi rojash, as I said to Ethel I get my e-mail and send via virgin media

rojash, I have tried your advise as above but there is no `Send` tab in my options window.
