Very sad too.They must have thought they were totaloly compatable etc.But it was thye old twin thing.Ive read somewhere that twins seperated strive to reunite subconciously.-do you think they were drawn together by missing each other and misread it as a different kind of love?

it was a sad story, the second one ive recently read where thats happened. if they were separetly adopted as babies is it actually illegal to marry? what if they have kids. what happens then?

Assuming this was a hetorosexual marriage, twins of opposite gender are no more similar than any other brother and sister.

They may have looked very different. Nobody would have thought me and my brother are related - we look nothing alike.

It is a very sad story.

what i dnt understand is this: Woukdn't the fact they lived near each other and had the same birthday make you thnk a bit? Dont you need birth or adoption certificates to get married?

That's just weird - I heard another similar story a few years back...brother and sister, adopted as toddlers, made contact with eachother years later. They then started an incestious relationship even though they knew they were related. Psychologists said that it was a way of dealing with teh emotional bond that had been severed as children. When you get to an adult the sexual bond can replace this. I just find it weird and very sad. I have 2 brothers and .....wow the thought just makes me squirm....
