Can anyone please tell me how much it pays to be an airline attendent/hostess. My partner wants to go for a job with easy jet? He is the sort the person that would be really good at it but there are alot of peole who want to do it and my friend reckons the pay is terrible. Many Thanks in advanced.

One of my old school friends does it for EasyJet and to be honest, the pay isn't that good. The only reason she stays there is because she gets great benefits (discounted flights), she gets to travel and she has no ties in England (married, kids etc).
Rubbish pay and you have meet criteria such as height and build, be within a certain distance of the airport..

The starting salary for a new recruit is approximately �14,000 per annum including flight pay which is an allowance that is paid to you for every hour that you are working away from base. Experienced cabin crew�s salary can go up to �16,000 and senior �22,000 both including flight pay. I wouldnt mind trying it out but although im fairly tall (1m84) Im over my normal weight (i weigh around 88kg) so sadly they wouldnt accept me. Im also not gay which works against me in this environment.

Thanks so much for everyones reply as i said to my partner really its just like being a waiter but in the air and how much are they really going to pay someone to push along a cart selling a few drinks and sandwiches!
