I am getting a blender in a bid to start eating more fruits and veg. Am I right in thinking I will be able to make the following with it: soups, smoothies/milkshakes and cocktails? Or do I need to get a smoothie maker? I don't really understand the difference! for info, I am getting this one: http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servl et/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=1000 1&langId=-1&productId=561542 Will it be ok for what I want it for? Many thanks!

A year has passed and I have similar plans, though soups and stews are more what I have in mind than smoothies. I hope that it will help me add to my fruit intake. Did you find you increased your intake of fruit, Max?
Are you actually eating more fruit a year on? I tried asking this quesion before and it somehow disappeared, perhaps because this thread is so old.
