October 30th / 31st
When they're faulty.
Always on the last Sunday in October.
I've always been taught that it's the day after the fourth Saturday in October, so it's not always the last Sunday in October. By this reckoning, it should be the 24th this year. By the way, Oneeyedvic's answer is meaningless, as there is no such date as "October 30th/31st". It's always definitely on a Sunday, so that means it must be October 24th or 31st, not 30th.
BTW they go back from 2am to 1am, so we get from 1am to 2am twice. TTML
A few minutes of googling has found several references to 31st October 2004, so they must have changed the "day-after-the fourth-Saturday-in-October" rule since I last knew about it. TTML
I meant that weekend - thought that was pretty obvious. Most people do not get up at 2am to change their clocks but change them on the Saturday ie 30th / 31st.
I didn't think it was obvious at all. Clocks go back at a time, not during a whole weekend.
Yours might Bernado, mine go back over a weekend - like most poeples. The wake up alarms etc go back Saturday night, the ones I have forgotten or need to look up how to do generally go back on a Sunday. As I said, do yours go back on at 2am on the 31st.....
Of course I put my clocks back at 2am precisely! Doesn't everybody? TTML
Since all of Europe agreed on one date, it is the last Sunday in October. So I stick with my answer!
Bernardo you really do need to get a life and i can only guess what you are up to at 2am if you are this anal about your clock adjustments!
