No.
It's more suited to vampires!!!
No. It's made from animals' blood and offal.

Black pudding is nasty!

Actually it's all a big myth, I can categorically state that Black pudding is totally fine for vegetarians, it's actually coloured by licorice, and you should try it it's great. I eat it every day in my yorksire home town and I haven't sufered.
Rice pudding is much more suitable!  See next question for suggestions.  :o)

the black pudding we eat round here is definitely NOT suitable for veggies unless they like eating pigs blood, which i doubt very much.

Black puddings fantastic. It's like eating a big soft scab with fat in it. I've eaten it all my life & it's never done me any harm, & I should know having had 8 heart attacks.

Perhaps it is just a case of semantics. I always thought vegetarian referred specifically to the meat of animals and fish & vegan referred to not only the meat but all the other by-products of animals eggs, cheese, honey etc. Just wondered if black pudding fell into the vegetarian or vegan category. Thanks for all your input anyway.
If surreyman is right, then the Masai, who shoot an arrow into the vein of a cow or bull, collect the blood and drink it, are vegetarians, since the animal does not die.  The subtle difference between blood and meat also calls to mind the argument in the Merchant of Venice, that Shylock could have his pound of flesh so long as not a drop of blood was spilt.  Is Dick Cheese related to Richard Head?  His answers may be funny, but it's hard to tell when your tongue is in your cheek when you are typing.
Trust me, my tongue's going nowhere near Dick Cheese, & no, we're not related. He sounds like the sort of loser that hangs round gypsies.
