I used to use a tiny bit of sudocrem on my daughters chin where she used to dribble, alternatively, I'm sure a little bit of petroleum jelly would be ok.
I agree with mifta on both suggestions although I would personally use petroleum jelly/vaseline as my first choice. As well as using it indoors, put a thin layer on her rash just before she goes out anywhere as it will protect her wet skin from the elements.
Id say petroleum jelly as its not so noticable as sudocrem once on the skin.

Vaseline during the day for prtection, sudocreme applied at night to heal the rash. Sudocreme is amazing stuff - I still keep a tub of it for skin problems even though my kids sre 7 and 6.
We just had the same but I would descibe it a reaction, more than a rash.

Went to the GP who said at first it was bacterial, then after 1 week of putting cream on, treated it as fungal. We were given a steroid cream and it cleared up within 3 days.

My advice would be to go to your GP and get something perscribed.
One of my daughters had eczema as a baby and the other one very dry and sore fingertips and I swear by

Aloe Propolis Creme

Its absolutely brilliant and completely natural. (They were prescribed steroid cream with no effect previously).

A good website for it is /www.aloeverasupplier.co.uk

Please try it you will never look back!!
The miracle Sudocreme, still use it now for sore bits here and there.
my daughter had a little patch out of the corner of her mouth when she was little and it went on for months., I tried different creams and she was treated by her doctor for eczema. When we moved and I went to a different doctor he said it was a bacterial problem caused by food (and dribbling in the night probably) and he gave her an anti-bacterial cream. it cleared up in 2 days and never returned.
Best to go to the docs and get a good prescription,it'll save you money and time.
Does she dribble constantly? If so this in itself may need some attention or is it only when teething?
