I recently lost my little boy and I have his ashes at home. Am I allowed to bury his ashes in my garden or is it illegal?

Have word with your local CAB / Council / solicitor about the legal implications of this decision. Might it be better to consider a plot at your local Garden Of Remembrence, you can visit your son's resting place when you feel the need, and remember him in suitably quiet reflective surroundings. This will avoid any future conflict caused by moving house, or even your death which places the responsibility for your son's resting place on your relatives. Give the idea some thought before you proceed - you'll be glad you did in the future.
