Schism in the BNP
An article in the Guardian today reports that the BNP is engulfed in an internal row after senior party members were spied on by the party because the leadership suspected that a coup was being plannned to overthrow Nick Griffin as leader.
The article says that "large sections of the party across the north of England and Scotland are now openly hostile to Griffin and the current BNP leadership"
Does anyone know what has caused this division? Is Nick Griffin not extreme enough for them?

The Labour MP Jon Cruddas has written to the head of the Metropolitan police, Sir Ian Blair, calling for an inquiry into what he claims are "criminal activities involving senior members" of the party.
Eh! he wasn't talking about his own party was he?
"They appear to be monitoring phone calls and emails of their members and removing computers from private households. This is not the behaviour of a normal political party and I would like to see the police investigate this."
Perhaps the BNP should start delving into Labour Party affairs?
