Can anyone please recommend a site? NOT Kazaa Platinum as you have to pay for that.

I posted a similar question to this a while ago. The question is still there, but all the answers have been deleted!" :o(

Use a torrent

Is that a website? I "googled" it and it came up with lots of stuff about creating shared files, but no specific site for music downloads.
I dont want to put too much in case the append gets deleted (as you say others have done).

I explained it all here

Using Torrents you can download whole albums, or even collections of albums, unlike kazza and limewire which are usually single songs.

there is soulseek and there is ares...be careful not to download the "fake versions" of the programmes though.

Thanks vehelpfulguy - I'm mainly looking to download individual songs.

Thanks.

I used to use limewire, but so many people told me that it would eventually mess up my PC that (knowing what my luck is like!) I took it off before that happened.

Soulseek isn't free :o(
I use limewire and I have never had a problem?....
Question Author
Thanks cazzz.

I must admit, I never had any problem in the few months I was using it, but I had more than one (reliable) person tell me that it would eventually mess my PC up.

Also, with my luck being what it is(!), I'd have been ther only person that had ever had a problem with it xx months in!

I might give it another go.
bearshare is also a free music download site
Question Author
Thanks
Or you could just buy the music instead of robbing the artist of royalties which are rightfully theirs. Not all artists are mega rich you know.
I have used Limewire since winMx disapeared, I have also used Bearshare, I now find that my registry is full of spyware sites connected to these two programs, I have been able to get rid of some of them but not all,I now use Frostwire, as far as i can see it is clean,I might as well ask, how can i get rid of all this bearshare spyware?I am already running these on my pc
avg free...spybot...ad-aware...cc cleaner...spyzooka...avast anti virus...super anti spyware...spyware detector...3x a squared programs...spysweeper... and windows defender,im thinking of adding zone alarm, The only one that finds this spyware and others accociated with p2p is the spyware detector,Its also found coolwebsearch, at the moment i do not subscribe to spydetector.
Have i got too many of these programs? if so , which ones should i get rid of.
