Hi there   The lights upstairs in my house have all of a sudden stopped working.I was putting some floor boards down in the loft when my son dropped my tool box which made almighty bang.In one bedroom the lights still work but everywhere else upstairs they don't.I've changed the fuse in the fuse box but that didn't work.Any help you could give would be great.                Regards Graham

Sounds like the bedroom light is the first light on the circuit, and while working in the loft some wiring became loose. Look in the ceiling rose of the light that is working and check for loose wires.
sorry but you will have to lift up those floor boards and see if you have damaged a cable by trapping or a nail has gone into a cable
Don`t postpone getting the wiring checked out.....any short circuit could turn into a fire all too easily.
