Good answer from sludge. The Fertile Crescent of Mesopotamia, where people discovered wheat growing and turned to farming, so civilization could begin.
Wheat grown, of course, so that they could brew beer! Hurrah!
indeed.  It is believed by some archaeologists that civilisation began to grow grain to brew beer.  Wahey!! the root of civilisation is booze, i knew i was living as God intended....
The mere concept that the garden of eden + the beer brewing potential can be anywahere near Saudi Arabia is laughable.
