My indian takeaway comes in a white plastic bag containing foil trays full of my ordered goodies (not a brown paper one). No idea about Chinese, sorry.
you know red, this might scare you but I thought you were gravs puppy eating, perfume wearing, bald, large brained, opinionated monsoon working 29 year old, interestless girlfriend..
Our Indian takeaways always come in a silver carrier bag while the Chinese takeaways always come in those flimsy white bags that always take ages to burst as they tie them to tight.
Like kebabs I think the brown paper bag is to deter you from getting take away at all as most will leak on the car seat. Maybe they would rather you ate there to make it look busy.
Many Chinese only do take away so would have no benefit from ruining your car upholstery.
I reckon the brown bags soak up the oil from the curries. Chinese food tends to be less oily so plastic bag will do. Also maybe people order more from the Indian and that is why the bags are so big? I dunno! How many "items" do you order when going to the Indian, compared with the chinese?
