can i go to australia or usa if i have been to prison? (This happenend about 4 years ago)
I have a feeling USA may be a no - but does anyone know about Australia?

It depends on the crime

The crime was Fraud.

Not sure about Australia, but the US you need to get a visa before travelling if you have a conviction.

At the moment, it can take about 4/5 months to get a visa from London for the US. You have to pay around �60 for it, have to go for an interview. And even then, theres not guarentee that when you get to the states they won't turn you away.
