Why does the answer "dwelt" relate to the clue "a house" ?
It obviously (?) is DWELT, but does anyone else think that 'a house' is hardly a definition for the answer?
Maybe the compiler intended "Lived in a house" !
I think you must be right Swannbaker - that seems to be the only sensible explanation for a definitely deficient clue.
