During the reign of Queen Victoria it was the Victorian era. Then Edwardian, Georgian and currently Elizabethan.
What era comes next? (Assuming Charles takes the throne).
And what is after that?
(I think I know the first, but have no idea of the second.

Kings have a habit of changing their names when they get on the throne, here's a BBC link to what charles is thinking of being called:

Thanks for that 4GS.
The adjective from 'Charles' is 'Caroline'. (Yes, I know that is also a girl's name, but it is still true!) Thus, if he stays as Charles, we will be in a Caroline Period and if he does, indeed, change to George, we will be in yet another Georgian Age.

Thanks, quizmonster, that was my thought, but stil have no idea of William.
Williamite, probably. That was the descriptor for supporters of William of Orange and it certainly sounds more plausible that Williamian, for example!
Hopefully 'The Republican Era' !

The Chic Era ??? or shikeira, haha

Question Author
If William shortens his name to Billy then we could have a Billianairre!
NikkiB, very good. I think we should go with that. :o)
What a brilliant question !
Hopefully a term will not be needed
