I had my credit card deatails stolen and i didn't realise until the bank rung me up to tell me. I asked them to identify the fraudsters address but they said they couldn't for security reasons. I've hired 2 private investigators to trace the person and do a background check on them for me.
What should i do to them when i find them?
(Prison is rubbish, 5 years and there out because of overcrowding!)

What do you want us to suggest you do? Gather up a posse and go break a few legs? Good luck with the prison sentance that follows if you go down this route.

You should check the evidence provided by the two private investigators you have hired (the one in the hawaiian shirt is probably gonna find the fraudster first) then when when you have turned the baddy over to the law (book em danno) and the police have interviewed the perps and then charged them, you should wait til the CSI have gone thru their hide out, (and taken home all their little yellow numbered markers and removed their yellow and black tape) then if the CPS feel that you have not compromised the investigation or fabricated the evidence or committed entrapment, they will possibly let them off.

ello Mr Wix, we've done a background check on the fraudster and he is Romanian, he's from Romania and he travelled to the UK from Romania. ....that'll be �200, cash only, no dodgy cheks'' : )

Can't say exactly how much the PI's are charging dot but its around �1000 plus. If they don't find the info, they don't get my money.
Anyway, the last part was a joke legend, no stupid answer required.

errrr, you are paying �2000 to find out that they are Romanian ? how much did they defraud you of? it must be several thousand pounds to make it worhwhile and why are you not insured?
