It would be useful if you had a button that you could click on with my most recent questions and answers submitted.....?

Try to go to My Profile in My Details section and select from the drop down list:

• All threads I'm involved in
• My questions
• Questions I gave answers to

All of  them are sorted by the most recent, so it is probably the thing you want.
