Hi, I know someone whose drinking lots of water throughout the day, but constantly feels dehydrated. This includes waking up feeling this way. Evidently the waters just passing right through. She's not drinking lots of caffinated drinks. Any suggestions for how this feeling of dehydration could be reduced much appreciated.

Has this person been tested for diabetes?

Tell her to go to her GP and get tested for diabetes, this is one of the classic symptoms of it.
Is there a lot of hidden salt in the food she eats? I drink nearly three litres of water a day and when I had tests done in my evaluation at the gym a few months back, I was told I was dehydrated and that salt is the usual cause. Hope this might help. :o)
this is how i started with diabetes then my eyesight went blured because of sugar in my lenses it took 1 trip to doctors (said kidney infection) then 2 trips to hospital before they found out!
