Does anyone know any good websites that teach people how to draw a convincing Bart etc. I can do it quite well but it still doesnt look like the professionals!

You hear people imagine his head is a can etc, this sort of stuff would be useful!

Many thanks

Watch the Simpsons episode where Marge goes to art class, her teacher explains how to draw a rabbit and Marge applies it to Homer.  Its the same technique you're trying where you split the character down into basic geometric shapes, but the tricky bit is getting the proportions of the shapes right.  That bit is up to you.
If you have a picture of a character (i.e Bart), try copying it freehand (about the same size), but onto tracing paper or greaseproof paper then lay your drawing over the original picture. This should instantly show you if you have the head/ body too wide etc. Then try drawing it again freehand but correcting any faults from your first effort, (i.e try making the head/body thinner etc).
homer has Matt Groenig's name on him as a secret trademark! look at the way the hair on his ear is, the ear is the G and the hair is a M
cartooncritters.com it has lodes of cartoon characters including bart and many other cartoons
