I need to get hold of a load of old newspapers 74-75, but don't want to pay 40 for each one.. does anyone know where I can get a bulk load for free or really cheap? Any condition- or even hire then for two weeks. Thanks!& lt; /P>

Is it a local or a national paper?  If you are looking for something specific or even just want to browse, then your best bet is microfiche.  You need to go and ask at your local library where the microfiche is held and you will be able to find them quite easily.  If it is a national paper then I am not sure if they are held in one particular location or are spread out about the country.  In case you don't know, microfiche is a minute spool of film which is placed in a kind of viewfinder magnifier and you simply have to wind it until you find what you want.  Has been known to have the same affect as sea-sickness tho!

Just stop one of the lads delivering the local free newspaper in my home town of Nuneaton.

They'll gladly give you the whole bag full.  And the public won't give a hoot, because the papers are filled with estate agent and car dealer adverts.
