does anyone know if you can take cuttings from BERBERIS and grow them??? Cheers.

Yes, but it can be difficult to get a good cutting off them and they aren't the easiest to do.

cheers drewhound. do i just need to take the cutting and leave it in water or plant the cutting straight away?

Hi Joe, take them in early summer when you can find some decent newish growth and I always use a gritty compost but putting them in water may well work.

If there are several ways I always try them all so try the water as well
