I can't get going on bottom right. Can anyone help please with 26 across, clue: Poor visibility by the wood suits pike-perch (6) or 19 down, clue: Held it in, won't come out smelling of roses! (3,5), I have "A" as middle letter of first word.

Hello kayak, yes, I fathomed "Colorado". Where I went wrong was in 27 down, clue: Man on board? It's a bird where I had HERN ( he & rn for Royal Navy) instead of ROOK. I still have problems with 23 down, clue: Can it be a youth raising money overseas? (6) where I have: ?A?A?I. I have found "TALARI" in a list of currencies but can't fit it to the rest of the clue.
