It may be so, but there were lots of aquaducts used around the hellenic cities to stop the Romans ruining the water supply, don;t know what the greeks called em, but they certainly built em.
The question doesn't make much sense as it stands - seems to be a bad translation of something... What on earth is meant by 'fortified body'? Is Hellenic meant to mean the same as Greek, or is it a misprint for Hellenistic?
Are we after an answer such as Acropolis, which was the general term for a citadel, not just the one at Athens. The bit about protecting supply lines suggests Athens' Long Walls...
