Dog fits

Can anyone tell me what happen when a dog as a fit? Many thanks

My dog had several fits and with her she started drooling, then just collapsed on the floor and started twitching all over. You can't do anything to stop it once they go into a fit but you should try to make sure they are in a place where they can't hurt themselves and when they come out of it try to keep them quiet and relaxed. They will lose control of their bladder and bowels so be prepared for a mess.
If your dog starts having fits you should get veterinary advice and do so immediately if it goes into a cycle of fits.

Thanks very much for that. He is having a blood test today so i will know more when we get the results. He seems fine now but i was really worried at the time because i dont know if it was a fit? He just could;nt stand on his legs & then he rolled over a few time and he just was;nt his self.

May not have been a fit, sometimes they have a problem with the blood supply to the heart and they just seemto 'stop working' for a few seconds and then carry on as normal.
