It means that after lots of disasters, everything worked out alright after all.
Am i just being a bit cranky, or is that the sort of thing you could work out on your own?
I think its a shakespearean quote
It means that if something ends with a good result then any bad experiences along the way should be disregarded.
If something turn out good it is okey. Like pragmatic or the cause justifie the means
