I was just wondering what your opinion was on this!
OK, I was on the pill last month, and my periods were always regular, apart from last month, were I came on a week before my pill packet ran out (This is unheard of with me!) We had already decided to come off the pill after that month to try for a baby.
Now, if i was to take that irregular bleed as my cycle, i would of been due last Sunday. If i was to take my usual cycle then I wouldnt be due till this Monday (two days time) I did a test this morning but it was negative. Also we had sex 10 days ago, and the nextday I had an ache in my ovaries nothing like period pain.
i have been having mild period like pains since, and my boobs have been aching!!
The reason im asking is its my friends 30th birthday party celebrations tonight, and i still dont know if i can drink, cant work out wether there is still a chance I could be pregnant, or am i just wishfull thinking!! Thankyou for all your help!

well if you think there is a chance of you being pregnant then dont drink. a result doesnt always show when period is due, but also coming off the pill can alter your cycles for a few months.

Of course many women dont know they are pregnant that early on and smoke and drink and eat things they shouldnt etc etc and still have perfectly healthy babies.

But as you say, there is a chance you could be pregnant so you need to decide what you will do about the drinking.
Well i am pregnet and i dint know you could still have sex but you could my doctor told me and were haveing sex all nite it feels sooo good i love sex
Depending on how long you were previously on the pill, sometimes it takes awhile for the effects to release from your body and for you to become pregnant. It's hard to say because every woman is different - but most times the longer you were on the pill, the longer it may take for the effects to wear off and for you to become pregnant.

However, I agree with redcrx - if you THINK you might be pregnant, then don't drink or smoke.
