Will buying a Cat-c damaged and rpaired car affect its value. If I buy a cat-c repaired car will it be as good as buying a car that was never damaged in the first place?

cat c damaged cars do have a lesser value than cars that have never been damaged, however they dont depreciate in value any quicker, ie- you may buy a cat c at 20% cheaper than a car thats never been damaged but it will hold its money just the same
ive seen alot of cat c repairs done to such a standard that if it wasnt for the log book being stamped 'substantialy damaged' you wouldnt know the car had been bumped

if your thinking of buying salvage have you considered cat d??? normally these cars take very little repair and arent alot dearer than cat c
