Apolgies if this wrong section. A silver bracelet was in a flannel bag with a contact lens solution which contains peroxide & leaked out. It has tarnished parts of it. Is there any way of restoring it.? Have tried a jewellers but the cost is rather high? Any other way of cleaning it up?? Thanks in advance.

I do know that toothpaste is brilliant on silver, but possibly only for normal tarnish, give it a try anyway, not expensive

These guys do a range of things inluding a replating solution for under a tenner. Ring and ask if anyone in your area stocks it ... or pay for postage.
