ESP light - Audi

The ESP light keeps appearing on the dash of my Audi. Switching the ESP on and off does not affect it. Can anyone help or advise please?

Might sound like a silly question but does it do it when your travelling round corners??

No, not necesarily, it is very random. I have taken it to my local garage who re-set the computer about 3-4 months ago but, it has now come on again!
