I bet the family are at their wits end to find out if its her and then if it is, how on earth are they going to find a travelling family who were there 25 days ago! Why on earth didn't they hand that picture over sooner!

I do so hope it is as it doesn't look like she is being ill treated, but obviously there is no way of telling.

Just glad the story is turning away from this parent suspect nonsence!

Hi BiddyBoo yes totally agree, but I fear it will be very very difficult to trace this family. As I have already said, they won't have legal papers or anything, and they will all stick together so there'll be no informing. Have to admit when she first went missing I followed every young blond child and tried to look into her eyes, the parents were not pleased, so I gave up. I still look, but only if I really think it's Maddie will I get closer.

hi there, i thought it could be maddie as i do think it is uncanny that she is the image. her hair has a cows lick, similar to maddie, and has the same puffyness around her cheek bones. BUT then again this child does look a little younger to the photo's which were posted when little maddie went missing. i really do hope this is her, but im doubtful. and if itcould be, then im guessing she was given away too. and no she may not be given to rich people , there is too much media on the case, and i do think the woman looks more like a guy too.

They'd be more likely to disguise the child than the adult.

Easily done - bit floppy hat, or scarf, cut the child's hair, dye her hair, fake tan.....

After all, nobody is looking for an old peasant woman, or man.

I think the child does resemble Maddie but she looks to young only about 2 or 3.
My friend was convinced she saw Maddie with 4 people while on holiday in crete, as did several other people. The people she was with wouldn't let anyone near the child but my friend late met the older couple of the 4 and got quite a lot of info from them. She reported it to Police, Find Maddie and Crimestoppers when she got back with a 6 page statement and not one agency wanted to know. This was 3 months ago and she is still upset about it as she is so convinced it was her.

I think we all would have been overjoyed BOO. I just wish the press would leave all this alone now until they have positive news. Although, as I have said, I think the parents were criminal in leaving her alone, and that I think they have actually caused more problems by courting the press, I would never wish this on anybody and they must be going through hell. No-one deserves this.

i feel so sorry for the parents. but they have been very strange on the way they've behaved. i knew the little girl was younger looking, but its such a shame. lets face it there is so much ifs or buts, and so many sightings of that poor little girl. there is so many children who could look like maddie. i guess we all are hoping the same she's safe and well. i hope everyone is united in this. but for one id never leave my children alone in this country neva mind another one. especially they were so young. the parents will have to live with this for the rest of their lives. we can go on forever about this and all have our own views. but at the end of the day i hope the little one is okay and i wish her all the love nd hugs in the world. love to maddie and lets prayer they'll find her xxxx
