Using PS2 Game Pad with a PC

Is there any way I can use Playstation 2 game pads or steering wheel with PC games?

I bought a similar item off ebay (very cheap one here). Be careful, as PS/2 connector can also mean the round ones you use to plug in your keyboard and mouse, (see this picture) so if you buy from ebay make sure it's from the "Sony PS2" section and not Computing.
