I thought it was time to post another thread about the disappearance of Daddies Brown Sauce from the shelves of our supermarkets.

Are other people still unable to find it in most large supermarket chains ?

As I've posted before, I have found it in a chain called Heron Stores, and today I found it in Farmfoods.

Again it looks like old stock, still made in the UK - when production has moved to the Netherlands apparently.

I'd be interested to hear from other ABers.

I'm okay, I now have several MONTHS supply ! But I know from previous threads that some people are getting desperate.

I just thought I'd post with another possible "source" for people.

As you can see, I was actually involved in some of those threads BBWCHATT.

And unless there is a renewed and continual supply from the continent, presumably those internet sources have or will dry up soon, and are anyway a very expensive solution to the problem.

People just want to be able to visit their local Asda/Tesco'Saisbury's etc. for their Daddies !
I have seen this in Morrisons
The sooner that Daddies sauce disappears off the face of the earth the better.
I can't find any in South Oxfordshire. Tried Tesco's, Sainsbury's and local shops. Even a local Chippy that I was told had some but they only had Daddies ketchup!

I am having to make do with HP on my cottage pie and its a very poor substitute.
I have just seen Daddies brown and red in Londis.

Drayton Gas...As I mentioned on a previous thread on this topic, try Branston Brown Sauce, my OH says it's better than HP and as near as he thinks that he'll get to Daddies!
This is currently on sale in our local Morrisons and also our Co-op supermarket.

If you have a Morrisons store nearby, why not ask customer services if they can get some in for you. They are usually very helpful.
