A / P = 1 / (1+P)
A(1+P) = P (cross-multiplying)
A + AP = P 9multiply out brackets)
A = P - AP (terms containing P to one side)
A = P(1 - A) (take out P as common factor)
A / (1 - A) = P (divide both sides by (1 - A) )

there's a problem with that isn't there?
when cross multiplying doesn't it turn to
A(1+P) / P(1+P) = P
or have i gotten myself completly confused?
soacahtoa is correct to cross multiply . Multiply A by 1+P and Multiply 1 by P so you get A[1+P] = 1P
