"Parts inside your printer are near the end of their service life. See your printer documentation." What does this mean, and should I be worried?? I've looked at the documentation, and I can't seem to find anything related... printer works fine, it's just the status window won't quit automatically after it's done printing and I have to click the little X myself.

Can anyone help?

you can reset by holing down power, maintenance and stop for 20 secs
This is well in my case Epson trying to get you to replace a perfectly good printer.

I have a Epson c44 it said the same thing so I googled and found a utility that reset it to factory fresh. It has worked now for 9 months no problem -

Looks a bit advanced - I'll have to read up on it before I try anything, but thank you loads, I'm sure it'll prove handy! :)
