I am going over to Broadband as Orange have decided to bribe me with half price.

They are supposed to send me a Broadband Modem . Can someone tell me what form this takes?

. I hope its just something that attaches to the phone socket rather than an internal fit in the pc.

It attaches to the phone socket, and plugs into one of your USB ports with a cable - so you don't need to open the box!
follow the cd instructions that go with the modem, don't plug the modem in before installing the drivers,

Thanks ,Thats a relief , rojash.

Thanks for the info on Drivers , deggers316
Of course whether you'll actually ever be able to use it is another matter considering all the masses of problems Orange have been having recently since they took over Freeserve.

Don't expect support or e-mail for a large chunk of the time (as well documented), and connection is kindof optional.
