I was wondering how to get mroe than two columns of Programs in my All Programs menu. At the moment I just have two columns, but I have too many Programs for these columns, so some cannot be viewed and are 'off the screen'. I just need an extra column or two.
Cheers.

Assuming you are using XP, you can't add another column, annoyingly.

You can reduce the list by making more folders and moving programs into that. Say a 'photo software' folder for all relevant photo programs, or 'music burning'.

ethels is actually the answer
create sub folders ... when you open the subfolder .... it will open another column ... giving you three cols (but that's as far as it goes)
" ... giving you three cols (but that's as far as it goes) "

unless the sub-folder contains a sub-folder, that contains a sub-folder, etc.!

The "columns" will then extend to the righthand side of the screen and then come back again towards the left.
Or you could switch to the classic start menu, select the "scroll programs" option, and have a single column with a little scroll arrow at the top and bottom
