Why are there no adverts for new motorcycles on TV? The only ads to date are for Suzuki on Eurosport.

We are constantly being battered by car ads, most of which are stupid and don`t tell us what benefits it has, where as bikes are surely the better transport option ie cheap to run, cutting congestion, greener etc... wouldn`t it make sense for Honda to launch adverts for, say, their new Fireblade, to try and persuade people to leave their cars at home when they travel alone, and only use them when the car is full of people?

Any thoughts......

You mean ads for the Franny Barnett, Excelsior, Velocette Venom, Norton Dominator, Vincent or the BSA C15.
No, I haven't seen a lot of them lately either.
