as she (and others) have proved time and time again bob. So we're back to the point of banning their posts. The argument however seems to be when to report. Should it be done because you disagree with the point? You don't like the user? Both?

what is it with this banning stuff today if people arent happy with a post 4 a genuine reason report it and if others feel the same way they will too.

I don't claim it to be a selfless act tho. I donate because I have seen first hand how kidney failure affects not just the paitent but the family too. I thank God there were the kidney charities there just to be able to understand what was happening to us and know we weren't alone.
The same with cancer, I'm just glad that people have donated in the past so that the support & reasearch is still there now.
Quite simply if people didn't raise money for these causes because they had been affected first hand then there would be no help or support and possibly treatment for anyone who gets kidney disease, cancer, heart problems etc.. as there is today. There would also be no awareness.

Because they are spineless followers who can't do anything of their own accord. They require permission and acceptace from the rest of their "clique" so as to make sure they are still "fitting in". They can't stand alone and voice an opinion.

this person is asking for a user to be banned which solves nothing as banning is as effective as weeing on a forest fire, but no matter how many times 50 different people say this you still get the "ban them ban them" posts, in order to be offended by a post one has to read through the entire thread which begs the question why read it in the first place if it causes so much angst?

As for reporting, BOO..if you want to report, then only do it if you find the post offensive..not because you don't like the user.

Many, many times I have replied to ST's posts in a sensible manner if they are real questions. There have been many other times I have found certain language or terms offensive, usually from other users.

I can name quite a few users who I have had issues with in the past, and they probably know who they are. However I take each and every one of their posts on their own merits.

banning them does nothing amonty, the best treatment of trolls is panfrying with cabbage, if that cant be achieved then just ignore he/she/it, they say things to deliberatly get you all riled up.

if they always got zero reponses to their naff posts then they would soon get bored, its your shock and horror that they feed off much like a headlouse and a scalp

as i'm now sick of the abuse , foul language , and no respect for anyones feelings .
