Sky and moving house

How much does sky charge you when you move house to put your dish up? Has anyone experience of a long wait between the move and getting re-installed? I was on the Sky website and they have the details of how to do it but no indication of the cost.

I cannot remember the charge but when I moved I arranged for a local company to put up the dish and connect everything up the day after I moved in. I advised Sky of my new address in advance and I was up and running the next day.

i had nothing but trouble with sky when i moved, before i moved i rang them to say im moving blar blar and how much would it cost to have it reinstaled it was summink like �60 and i said no i will cancel seen as its free to get again once moved so cause they dont want to lose customers and said they will instal it for free which brilliant i thought, i had to take two days off work coz they messed up they couldnt communicate with one another and another bloke turned up and made out he couldnt fit it for some reason but by this point i had got so fed up and told him i want my sky installed today, i had spent a number of hours on phone to them coz always on hold anyway after a few months of in my new place i had finaly got my sky set up.
I hope you have better luck then me and you should get a movin home deal which is free just push it or go to currys and its free they normaly give away free stuff aswell for signing up

i moved twice in 6 months and both times sky were very good, i gave them the date i was moving in and they did it on the day i wanted, although i did get charged �45 both times
