Hi, my pc keeps crashing with the blue screen of death (BSOD) but the crash only has happend in a game called uniball so far.

I have narrowed the crash down to either the game (which is highly unlikely since it never did it before when i had my old CPU), the PSU because it is designed for an AMD single core when i have a dual core CPU now or the CPU itself because i did not format and reinstall windows after installing the new CPU but i do not want to format and reinstall windows...

Do any of you have any suggestions? (see important info below for more details on my pc and the cpu+psu).

Important Info: Specs: AMD Athlon 64 bit dual core 4200+, 1 gb of RAM, ASUS mother board (version A8N5X), Sapphire RADEON X800XL graphics card, NVIDIA nForce Audio (onboard motherboard) sound card and Phoenix - award BIOS v6.00PG.
The new cpu was recently installed (from the AMD 3500+ to the the AMD 4200+) and the PSU is designed to support the AMD 3500+.
