I tried these two questions yesterday with no luck,as it is due to be posted this is my last try, The answer is a town or village in dumfries and galloway. 1/robbies glazed poem is here ( meaning rabbie burns) 2/this area has a gem of a mast

There was a poem written on an inn window in Stirling on seeing the ruined castle. I believe the pane of glass was preserved, and could be in one of the many Burns museums , I'm afraid I can't find which one though.
Apparently a number of these panes survive in Stirlingshire and Dumfriesshire, so you might try Dumfries. I'll keep researching.
Got it! The Globe Inn in Dumfries.
1. The Glebe Inn Dumfries.
There is a mast in Lowther Hills very near Wanlockhead
where I believe gold and silver was ?mined at one time.
It's a long shot but could this refer to the gem??
