Daily Telegraph on Sat 25/8.
8 Down: "After six Greek Character took Mum into deity".
I have a feeling the answer is Vishnu but can't work out why (six = VI, Vishu is a God, but what about the Greek character and Mum?). Can anyone help on this?

23 Across: "Worthless nonsense unknown" seems to be "rubbishy", but why? Worthless and nonsense are ok, but what about unknown??
