What does it mean 'to vire monies'? A lot of organisations are using this - does it mean 'transfer'?
Why can't people speak English? It's infuriating that they all know what it means and I don't! Or maybe they don't know either.

I assume you mean wire monies?

Yes this is just a fancy way of saying they have sent the funds electronically by BACS/CHAPS

Hi, Black Noir
They said 'vire monies' - are they just being pseud?
Thanks for the answer anyway. We are mighty releived.
Vire, virement - the authorized transference of funds from one account to another; the process of transferring a revenue budget from one budget heading to another.

From the French virer - to turn, change.

Kempie - thanks a lot for this, and sorry about the misspelling of 'relieved' - was in a rush.
